  • What do you want students to take away from your classes?

Health promotion and education is a dynamic field because it provides professors with the chance to teach students about key health issues. I incorporate these topics and their significance in my classroom because I want students to understand these health priorities and challenge themselves to fill the gap between learning and practice. My students may come from a variety of disciplines. However, it is my goal that they learn how their unique backgrounds can be utilized for health planning and evaluation.

  • Why did you start teaching?

I started teaching because I love to see the development of students as they make progress in their academic journey! I believe that there are so many opportunities to learn with and from each other, and I find enjoyment when I see my students use their knowledge and experience to make a positive impact in their lives and the lives of others.
