The UTA online Master of Science in Nursing programs in gerontology provide nurses with the ability to maximize the quality of life and healthcare delivery services for individuals from the age of 18 through adulthood and the end of life.

GRADUATE DEGREE
The Master of Science in Nursing in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (MSN – AG ACNP) online program is designed to provide nurses with leadership skills, as well as the ability to use research findings to maximize the healthcare delivery services for individuals from the age of 18 through end of life who may be physiologically unstable, technologically dependent, and/or vulnerable for the development of complications.
Emphasis in the program is on health restoration, management of complex, acute and chronic illnesses and complex health management of adolescents, adults and older adults. This program features 100% online coursework. Upon completion, students of this program will be prepared to become board-certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
Graduates are well prepared for careers in gerontology and adult care and are highly employable.

The Master of Science in Nursing in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (MSN – AG PCNP) online program prepares nurses as primary care providers to manage the health of patients from adolescence through adulthood and the end of life.
The AG PCNP emphasizes health promotion, illness prevention, and management of minor acute illnesses exhibited by the ability to synthesize and apply research to maximize healthcare delivery. This program features 100% online coursework. Upon completion, students of this program will be prepared to become board-certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Graduates are well-prepared for careers in gerontology and adult care and are highly employable.
The baccalaureate, master's and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree programs and the post-graduate APRN certificate program in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at The University of Texas at Arlington are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
