The Master of Science in Nursing in Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (MSN – PACNP) online program prepares nurses to provide children with evidence-based interventions to facilitate optimum health and growth. This program is designed to expand knowledge and experience to practice in high acuity areas using expert care for children from birth to 21 years of age.
This nursing program includes 100% online coursework that focuses on the role of the nurse practitioner in health assessment and advanced practice, pediatric primary care, pediatric acute care and an advanced clinical nursing practicum. Upon graduation, you will be prepared to take the PACNP National Certification Exam through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

The Master of Science in Nursing in Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (MSN – PPCNP) online program prepares the pediatric nurse practitioner to provide leadership and promote research in the development of healthcare services for children across the primary care continuum, from preventative care to disease management.
This program features 100% online coursework and is designed for nurses who are dedicated to providing expert, evidence-based care for children from birth to 21 years of age. Graduates of the PPCNP online program are prepared to take Pediatric Nurse Practitioner national certification exam offered by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
The baccalaureate, master's and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree programs and the post-graduate APRN certificate program in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at The University of Texas at Arlington are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
